First Day of (Pre)-Pre School

First day of Pre-Pre School which is called Strong Start, funded by the gov't for kids of all ages to explore the rules of school and play! Lots of kids there as it is a drop in for parents and kids, parents must stay with their child and take care of them. I thought it would be good for Owen to go to this as it's fun for him, and he'll learn to listen to his teacher, and have some structure for time for play and time for quiet reading time.

When we got there, first thing is gym time, so it's a free for all in the gym, Owen loved it, and went for the scooter like thing that's too small for him like he loves at Gramma and Papa's house! He spent the majority of time in the gym on this scooter racing around the gym.
Once gym time was finished, snack time! (which was provided, which I didn't know, and was nice to have someone else to prepare!!)
Then on to Arts and Crafts time...."A is for Apple" was the theme today. So he got to paint his picture with cut up apple which made a great mess!!!
At play time he played at the "kitchen" and made lots of food for me and for some other little ones as well! He loved that kitchen and I could hardly pry him away from it when it was story time)

Then it was Mat time where Amanda (the teacher) sung songs and read stories, while Owen kept escaping to go play at the kitchen again.
Once we were done (9am-noon) he left saying he had fun at school today, so I was happy with that! We are going to try to go everyday this week (Friday school is closed) but Owen had a great time and he's been singing tonight, 5 little monkeys and Wheels on the bus, conjoined.... "5 little monkeys jumping on the bed, doctor says, no more monkeys on the bus." lol
