A Day in the Life of the Muller Family: Owen's First trip to Edmonton!!

We of course, are on standby to fly to Edmonton, and the first flight we were booked on cancelled, of course, just my luck! So we stood by for the next flight and it was full due to the cancellation, so we stood by for 3 flights and got out at 655pm! Only 6hours in Vancouver! So that wasn't too bad. But, the best part is we got upgraded to business class from Vancouver-Edmonton! We got there, but our bags did not. So we waited at the airport for the next flight to come in just in case our bags came in right after us, at 11pm. Owen was such a trooper! He must have been so tired, he napped on the flight from Vancouver-Edmonton for about 10 minutes!

Day One, Sunday. A day in the park with my family!

There were only 2 people missing because they were out of town, so we were pretty excited that everyone got to see Owen!

And the family enjoying the nice day we had eating hot dogs, watermelon and lots of other good stuff! Owen must have had 1/4 of the watermelon eaten! He loved it! Anytime I took it away from him, he was smart enough to ask one of his aunties to help open the container for more!

After the park we went over to Uncle Johnny and Auntie Elaine's house to play and have some dinner!

Day Two, Monday. The West Edmonton Mall

We also went to Uncle Norbert and Jason's office to see their office.

Here Owen is taking a little break and out of his stroller to go for another plane ride! He was very good in his stroller for most of the day at the mall. He did get somewhat ansy to get out so we let him run for a little while here and there. We got a few new clothes for me, Garth and Owen while we were there.

Day Three, Tuesday. GalaxyLand

We also went to Ikea and bought some cool stuff for Owen's bedroom! And visited Uncle Johnny at his work! And went to Toys R Us and PetSmart.

More rides...the best part was that children under a certain age are free and they have to be accompanied, and that person is also free, so we had a nice non-expensive day!!!

Mommy got dizzy, so it's Daddy's turn to go on a ride with Owen!!!!

Day 4, Wednesday. The Zoo

Uncle Johnny and Auntie Elaine took the day off work to take us to the zoo. It was fun, but Owen was not on his best behavior, but I think he had fun running around the zoo. Most of the animals were sleeping before lunchtime, and the season is not quite open, but we got to see some pretty neat animals anyways!

That evening, we went to my cousin Jacquelyn's apartment....Owen loved the cats! Only Lucy loved him back...but I think it was more "what is this thing" than love! Lucy was very interested in what Owen was doing and not letting him out of her sight, but staying high out of his reach! It was sooo funny!
